Ethics

The foundation upon which the school community is build is integrity.  Please familiarize yourself with the school's guidelines for academic integrity (see Student Handbook).  If you are confronted with an ethical gray area, please ask me for guidance about what is considered to be honest work.  Remember that in our actions and words, we are constantly defining what kind of people we are and what ideals we stand for.  Each of use contributes to the sense of honor, integrity, and mutual trust we enjoy in our community.

Some examples of things that are considered academic dishonesty include:  copying homework, lying about your homework (and why you don't have it); offering your homework to be copied; asking a student in another section about a test or quiz; offering information about a test or quiz or discussing a test or quiz before everyone has taken it.
